The Beer

Icicle Brewing Company strives to use local ingredients in our beer production. The water for our beer comes from Icicle Creek which flows into the Wenatchee River less than a mile from the brewery. The bulk of the malted barley comes from a maltster in Vancouver, Washington. Our hops arrive from the Yakima Valley where owner Oliver Brulotte was born and raised. Finally, we get our yeast from a laboratory located in the Columbia River Gorge.

Our Award Winning Beers are distributed throughout Eastern Washington.

Colchuck Raspberry Wheat

No mater the time of year, our Colchuck Raspberry Wheat has captured the spirit of Spring by fermenting our fresh golden ale with an abundance of Willamette Valley raspberries, adding a slight sweetness and tartness to the transition. No matter your shoe-style... flip flop or high top, you’ll be able to kick your feet up with the perfect pint!

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 17    OG: 12.4°P    FG: 3.0°P

Bootjack IPA

This ‘Northwest Classic’ is a harmonious blend of our pride and our passion inspired by the rugged and gentle terrain of the Cascade Mountains. Starting with the pristine waters of Icicle Creek, we add the intense flavors and aromas of our locally grown Yakima hops, pairing the citrusy floral hop notes with a sweet-malty undertone. It’s an IPA that’s breaking the barrier between bitter and bold.

Available in 1/2 barrels and 22oz bottles.

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 64    OG: 15.7°P    FG: 3.8°P

Dark Persuasion

Delicate dark chocolate with a whisper of coconut... You know you want it, go ahead and indulge. You can finally have German Chocolate Cake and drink it too. There's no need to be nervous, it's just wickedly deep and full of flavor and desire. With its provocative aroma and smooth body, this is certainly the darkest of fifty shades of risqué.

Available in 1/2 barrels and 22oz bottles.

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 22    OG: 17.4°P    FG: 5.7°P

Copper Ale

Traditionally, this slightly sweet, full bodied strong ale is classified as a Scotch Ale which also is known as "Wee Heavy". However, in the 19th century they were known as 160/- which was in reference to the shilling currency. But we judged this carefully crafted a Scotch-style Ale by its cover... or rather, color. Our Copper Ale finds itself at the crossroads of sweet and malty, full-bodied and strong, light and dark, wee and heavy. So regardless of what you call it, ordering another will be the best call you make all day.

ABV: 7.0%    IBU: 30    OG: 17.4°P    FG: 4.7°P

Punk Rock Alt

Punk Rock Alt is an European amber ale with a subtle hop bitterness and a smooth finish. Enjoy a pint on our patio while you gaze upon the original Punk Rock that sits on top of Tumwater Mountain.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 29

Crosscut Pilsner

We’ve brewed up a bit of our local logging history and crafted a Pilsner-Style Lager that offers up a hint of our home. Like the surrounding Northwest forests we call our back yard, this beer is complex in its subtleties. From a clean malty profile to a moderate Noble-hop flavor and aroma, our Lager combines local ingredients and inspiration, which results in a beer that's a cut above the rest.

Available in 1/2 barrels and 22oz bottles.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 28    OG: 11.7°P    FG: 2.3°P

Dirtyface Amber

Finally, a beer that pays homage to the hard workers in our Valley. The trail crews and farmers, the lumberjacks and firefighters, we brew this for you! With these folk in mind, we’ve created an Amber Lager that features a smooth, medium body, with a rich toasted malt aroma. Dirtyface’s initial malty sweetness finishes fresh and clean… unlike its name. No need to wash up, just wash down.

Available in 1/2 barrels and 22oz bottles.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 21    OG: 12.3°P    FG: 3.0°P

Apres Harvest Fresh Hop

Enter beer description here.Once a year during the mad hop harvest, we take 100 pounds of choice Yakima hops on the day they're picked and brew a beer for the ages. This year we harvested Equinot Hops from Carpenter Ranches for their outstanding flavor and aroma. The result: A crisp and refreshing Pale Ale with a pleasant hop presence that nudges the nose, tickles the taste buds, and has a fantastically fresh finish!

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 42    OG: 12.5°P    FG: 3.2°P

Après Harvest NW Pale Ale

Once a year during the mad hop harvest, we get to take 100 pounds of choice Yakima hops on the day they're picked and brew a beer for the ages. This year we chose to freshly squeeze Mosaic Hops for their outstanding flavor and aroma. The result: A crisp and refreshing Pale Ale with a pleasant hop presence that nudges the nose, tickles the taste buds, and has a fantastically fresh finish!

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 35    OG: 12.5°P    FG: 3.2°P

Bavarian Cowboy

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 20    OG: 16.3°P    FG: 4.5°P

Big George Baltic Porter

When you're the unanimously selected leader of the revolutionary army, crossing a cold, bleak river and battling the redcoats, you don't want a weak, fizzy, yellow beer. You want something dark, something strong enough to curl your powdered wig, and clean your wooden teeth. And that's what Big George represents...

ABV: 9.3%    IBU: 72    OG: 19.9°P    FG: 3.2°P

Black Belt Porter

Looking for a big, bold, rich, robust and roasty beer? Our Black Belt drinks surprisingly easy and has a very smooth mouthfeel, so don’t be afraid to dive into a pint. Historically, as technology advanced Porters continued to be brewed stronger. Black Belt is a nod to these “Stout Porters” believed to be the basis of the style, Stout.

ABV: 8.5%    IBU: 40    OG: 19.1°P    FG: 3.8°P

Buckbilly Bock

Bock beers were typically brewed in preparation for Spring and symbolized an optimistic transition from hard winter times. These copper-brown Lagers are lightly hopped with little to no hop presence allowing the toasted malt characters to be more evident. A local symbol of this same winter-to-spring transition is our free-range, backwoods, mountain goat (or bock if you want to get all Bavarian and bring this thing full circle). So it’s no coincidence we give a tip of hat and a subtle country wave to our friends in the surrounding hills.

ABV: 7.0%    IBU: 17    OG: 17.2°P    FG: 4.5°P

Chumsticke Alt

'The Secret Order of the Chumbilly' ensures that the ways of duct tape and 2-stroke live forever. Like the mysterious highway that weaves and winds its way from Plain to Leavenworth, this full-bodied 'secret' alt will twist your taste-buds with a balance of hop bitterness and smooth chocolate, then bank flavors of roasted malt off your cheeks and finishes as fine as flannel.

ABV: 8.5%    IBU: 42    OG: 18.8°P    FG: 3.5°P

Colab Belgian Tripel

*Brewed with Base Camp Brewing Company AT Icicle Brewing Company

The Portland leg of this epic Base Camp-Icicle collaboration brew resulted in a unique spin on a Belgian-style Tripel, featuring housemade, lightly caramelized, invert syrup to ramp up the floral, fruity, and spicy fermentation notes created by Base Camp's house ale yeast, as well as a secondary Belgian ale yeast added during conditioning. This strong, pale brew was then blended with a very light dose of Pinot Gris, adding a drying and mineral undertone to the mix. The resulting quaff glows a pale and hazy gold hue, throwing flowery and fruity aromas into the air through its dense, ivory foam, supported by an extremely complex and satisfying yet dry flavor- perfect on its own, with a fine meal, or as a prelude to a ripping line down Cowboy Mountain's face or through the upper bowl of Heather Canyon. Op uw gezonheid!

ABV: 9.3%    IBU: 17    OG: 18.6°P    FG: 2.0°P

Colchuck Citrus Wheat

This American-style Hefeweizen gives you everything you need to satisfy a well-deserved summer thirst. Fresh and easy to drink, this medium bodied golden ale has a moderate wheat flavor and malty sweetness. A balance of orange & coriander accompanied by a slight lemon zing, Colchuck Citrus Wheat is the perfect pint for the parched.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 17    OG: 12.4°P    FG: 3.0°P

Dark Vader Black IPA

It is a period of brewery unrest. Rebel brewers, striking from the Northwest, have won their first victory against the Standard Style Empire. The Icicle Alliance has done their part by blending the power of the dark side with the balance of the hop force, creating a dark beer with an out of this world hop presences. It’s a new hope for the expanding beer universe!

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 49    OG: 15.7°P    FG: 3.8°P

Decline Barley Wine

You asked and we listened! We’ve finally brewed up a boozy-doozy barley wine ale. As you can imagine, any inclined consumption of this rich mahogany colored beer, which developed its complexities during 8 months of barrel aging, will certainly lead to a decline in one’s ability to maintain a vertical line of gravity. Keep it classy and drink responsibly.

Available in 22oz bottles only at our tasting room.

ABV: 10.5%    IBU: 74    OG: 25.7°P    FG: 7.8°P

Drumfire Dark Lager

It's a classic Fall afternoon in Eastern Washington and there's a storm on the horizon. Like the clouds cresting the mountain range this balanced Lager, with a medium-low body, is dark yet comforting. High in drinkability and low in hop presence, Drumfire Dark Lager offers a slight chocolate flavor without an overly sweet impression. As lightning flashes and thunder rumbles low in the distance, remember that much like the storm, this great seasonal Lager soon will pass.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 14    OG: 12.8°P    FG: 3.5°P

Fist Full of Quarters Oaked Porter

When Donkey Kong isn’t trying to kill Mario, he’s home brewing. Beer in barrels... wine not? We took our already award winning Priebe Porter and aged it in cabernet sauvignon barrels from 37 Cellars winery. A Robust American Porter that captures princesses and palates alike with its rich aromas, strong malt character, and firm hop presence. Beat the game, silence the critics, and drink the beer!

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 34    OG: 15.7°P    FG: 3.8°P

Hellgrazer Helles Bock

Helles Bocks are traditionally brewed in the spring, so it makes sense for our latest limited release to be true to this classic style. While this version of Bock is slightly lighter in color, it’s 7.5% ABV is proof this mean little devil packs a punch. Whether you’re feasting on it’s mild hop presence, a bit of fresh grass, or on lost souls; Hellgrazer is a beer that’s much closer to Heaven than Hell.

ABV: 7.5%    IBU: 25    OG: 18.3°P    FG: 4.3°P

Ill Eagle Imperial IPA

This is a double IPA that shouldn’t cross state lines, can’t be registered, and I wouldn’t tell your mom about it. We made Carpenter Ranch in Yakima an offer on their hops that they couldn’t refuse and brewed a complex beer that’s flavor forward and full of aroma. When money laundering, bribes, and prohibition take their toll, the baddest birds dip their beaks into this bitter yet smooth full flavored ale.

*Available in 22oz Bottles only at our tasting room.

ABV: 8.5%    IBU: 90    OG: 18.7°P    FG: 2.8°P

Khaos Kölsch

As the frigid water of Icicle Creek tumbles down the canyon, pouring over boulders, churning in eddies, foam and froth billowing from beneath, it dreams of one day becoming the greatest beer ever. A German Style Ale that delicately balances subtle fruit flavors and aromas with a subdued maltiness, a beer that’s fresh like an alpine spring and as crisp as a mountain breeze. It dreams of brewing up to be the refreshing Khaos Kölsch.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 21    OG: 11.7°P    FG: 2.3°P

Kickstand Easy Ale

These days, craft beer seems to be getting bigger & stronger faster than Mark Mcguire in the 1997 offseason. It’s for that reason Icicle Brewing Company offers you a little break from the norm. Enter the Kickstand Easy Ale, a 4% beer with a light malty body and a slight hop aroma that’s here to keep you propped up on your journey through Enleisurement.

ABV: 4.0%    IBU: 25    OG: 11.0°P    FG: 3.5°P

Lifeguard Biere De Garde

Are you 'barley' staying afloat in the sea of watered down beers? Lucky for you, our brewers are on Beerwatch 24/7 and have come to the rescue with a French beer that starts sweet and finishes dry. They've brewed a bronzed stud muffin running slow motion in the sand that delicately pulls you from the dangerous waters off Cheap Beer Isle. Don't thank us... we're just doing our job and keeping you safe one great beer at a time.

ABV: 8.5%    IBU: 22    OG: 18.1°P    FG: 2.6°P

Lil' Willy American Stout

You know how some people take a perfectly fine truck and add big tires, lift kits and tasteful mud flaps? Well we did that with a little modification to the Foreign Extra Stout by adding some good ol' red, white, and blue. Well it’s more like pale, dark, and green… pale and dark as in the malt bill and green as in hops. With a whopping 60 IBU’s, this American Stout has a surprisingly well-timed hoppy balance paired with a smooth roasted finish.

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 60    OG: 16.1°P    FG: 4.3°P

Pale Ale Project #6

If variety is the spice of life, would that make Pale Ales the beer of life? We love the fact that this classic beer can come in all shapes and sizes and it’s our goal to explore the far reaches of this adventurous style in search of the perfect Pale. Hence the Pale Ale Project. Smooth and balanced pale ale made with mosaic hops.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 37    OG: 12.4°P    FG: 3.2°P

Pale Ale Project 5th Anniversary

If variety is the spice of life, would that make Pale Ales the beer of life? We love the fact that this classic beer can come in all shapes and sizes and it’s our goal to explore the far reaches of this adventurous style in search of the perfect Pale. Hence the Pale Ale Project, which is now on it’s 5th Pale Ale (coincidentally, in our 5th year of brewing). Like all our Pales, the top-secret recipe is guarded by a half-dozen rowdy brewers armed with a bad sense of fashion and poor table manners!

ABV: 5.0%

Pamm’s American Lager

Pamm’s American Lager is the perfect summer beer; it is a light and refreshing American lager. Pamm’s pairs well with barbeques, floating the river, and stargazing.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 10

Pear-Linner Weisse

To celebrate our valley growing more deluxe organic pears than anywhere in the nation, IBC used regional hand pressed pears to add a light and pleasantly sweet surprise to this mildly soured wheat. In honor of these special suds, clink your glasses with a hearty “Prost!” and sip away to be uniquely refreshed.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 17    OG: 12.4°P    FG: 3.0°P

Priebe Porter

To The Wizard of Water, The Master of Mash, The Baron of Barley, and Kingpin of Craft. The Head of Hops, The Kettle’s King, The Yoda of Yeast, and Guru of Grain. The Duke of Dunkels, The Leader of Lagers, The Ace of Ales, and Sultan of Sours: We raise our glass to you ingenious explorer and say, “Thank you Dean for the Priebe Porter!” So dark and so rich, robust and full flavored, the hops and aroma make it hard not to savor.

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 34    OG: 15.7°P    FG: 3.8°P

Real Snow Spiced Lager

A smooth Amber spiced with cinnamon, vanilla, and orange. This spiced seasonal will tingle your taste buds, and leave you curious for another sip. Well balanced spices complement the amber lager base, and please the palate. Finish your libation, and you may just want to imbibe in one more.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 22    OG: 13.0°P    FG: 3.7°P

Rosie Boa

What was once a bud of an idea has finally blossomed into an instant classic. Inspired by the abundance of Rose Hips surrounding our town, we've added dried rose hips to the conditioning take of our German-Style Sour Ale resulting in an uniquely local beer. Similar to a Berliner Weisse, Rosie Boa is tangy on the tastebuds but it's the floral rose hips that give this beer such beautiful contrast.

ABV: 3.5%    IBU: 4

Snowbockalypse Doppelbock

One of our favorite winter seasonals (as well as one of our firsts), Snowbockalypse is a deep brown lager with ruby highlights. An ode to Rudolph’ red nosed feat (guiding Kris Kringle on the stormiest winter night, thus saving Christmas), the heavy, rich, and sweet (St. Nicolas reference) malt notes carry this beer like Sinterklaas carried all those gifts that fateful night. So here’s to the snowstorm that brought us Rudolph, his red nose, and this excellent beer!

ABV: 8.5%    IBU: 21    OG: 20.3°P    FG: 5.2°P

Strictly Business Darker Than Pale Ale

Look past the Dr. Dre t-shirt and Van Halen poster, and you’ll see our brewers are all business. Like their musical tastes, they’ve found a healthy dose of balance in our newest creation. With the father/son duo of Troy and Keith Chadd at the helm, we’ve crafted a Strong Pale Ale with less focus on hops and more attention to the dark roasted grains. While it AIN’T NOTHIN BUT A BREW THANG to them, we’re sure you’ll be impressed with their efforts!

ABV: 7.5%    IBU: 36    OG: 17.1°P    FG: 3.1°P

Timbertown Brown

Timbertown Brown is a new brew with an old school nod to the rough & tumble times in Leavenworth’s history. The medium intensity in both malt flavor and aroma pairs perfectly with it’s caramel and chocolate-like malty characters. A solid hop backbone is evident in this incredibly drinkable beer which boasts an obvious hop bitterness paired with medium hop flavor and aroma. We won’t go into detail regarding the color of the beer… that should be a bit obvious.

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 68    OG: 16.1°P    FG: 4.2°P

Tres Hombres

What's better than two beers? Three of course. Especially when you're with Tres Hombres. Due to this simple law of mathematical beer drinking, we have brewed a Mexican-Style Lager aimed at being the go-to beer for these situations. Amber in color, this beer resembles the Vienna-style beer many German's brewed when they immigrated to Mexico in the mid 1800's. Now a mere 200 years later, we have taken this classic style and made it into the perfect summertime beverage for you and ALL your compadres. Salud!

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 18    OG: 12.0°P    FG: 2.6°P

Underhand Pale Ale

When "beer in hand" is required, ultimate leisure gamers and general beer drinkers alike reach for Underhand Pale Ale. This beer is designed specifically for underhand tossing and rolling of various objects. It's unmatched balance, crisp hop flavor, and smooth backswing will increase tossing accuracy tenfold. May leisure prevail!

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 34    OG: 12.9°P    FG: 3.3°P

Von Priebe Vanilla Porter

When Push Comes to Shove, even if you have One Foot Out the Door, this beer will make all you Sinners Swing! Consider this a Fair Warning, although I know you’ll Hear About it Later! From the Mean Streets of Leavenworth, between brewing, Dirty Movies and a Sunday Afternoon in the Park, the Unchained Dean Von Priebe has added a hint of Vanilla to his award winning Porter. So this is Love?... YES.

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 34    OG: 15.7°P    FG: 3.8°P

Winter Drumfire Dark Lager

As fall turns to winter so too has our latest seasonal. We've taken our already stellar Drumfire Dark Lager, which is high in drinkability and low in hop presence offering a slight chocolate flavor without an overly sweet impression, and infused hints of vanilla, orange, and cinnamon. Adding just enough winter cheer to withstand any dark and stormy night.

ABV: 5.0%    IBU: 14    OG: 12.8°P    FG: 3.5°P

Woody Goomsbock Oak Aged Doppelbock

We love our town. We love the people, the land, and even the funky “je ne sais quoi” that is Leavenworth. So why not take one of our favorite funky winter seasonals (Snowbockalypse), age it in local wine barrels for a few months and see what we get? The result? Woody Goomsbock, a deep brown lager with sublte oak, raisin, and caramel undertones. It’s a beer with a slight warming sensation at the finish and of course a certain “je ne sais bock”.

ABV: 8.5%    IBU: 21    OG: 20.3°P    FG: 5.2°P
